Très bon dans les Trials, le perfectible Fire Away (8) fait figure de lauréat potentiel, mais Super Denman (10), qui dépend d'un entraînement très redoutable, peut lui apporter une excellente réplique, en compagnie de Lim's Blast (2), revenu à une valeur le rendant compétitif, et Across The Sea (4), qui répète toutes ses courses. La dernière victoire de Red Claw (11) avait eu lieu à ce rating. Life Is Gamble (1) revoit progressivement ses ambitions à la baisse.
